Jennifer Lupo is an experienced arbitrator and mediator who brings more than 30 years of legal and dispute resolution experience to helping clients resolve disputes efficiently and fairly. With a background as both a transactional and litigation attorney, she takes a pragmatic, results-driven approach to dispute resolution—whether through a thoughtfully negotiated settlement or a well-reasoned arbitration award. She serves as an arbitrator and mediator for the AAA, CPR, NADN and FINRA.  For more than twenty years, she has served as a mediator for New York state and federal courts and on the mediation advisory committee to the USDC SDNY and EDNY ADR programs. 

Over the years, Jennifer has worked on both sides of the courtroom, representing plaintiffs and defendants and individuals to large private and public companies. She has handled complex matters involving financial transactions, securities, insurance, employment, and general business matters. Her time as a public general counsel overseeing high-stakes litigation gave her invaluable insight into how businesses operate, their internal decision-making processes, and the real-world pressures they face when navigating legal disputes.

Ms. Lupo’s deep legal knowledge, strong communication skills, and practical understanding of what’s at stake for all parties allow her to guide clients toward creative and effective resolutions. She is committed to helping businesses and individuals find solutions that align with their goals, maximize their resources, and bring clarity to uncertainty.

Jen is an active leader in the dispute resolution community and passionate about shaping its future. She was honored as a 2018 AAA Higginbotham Fellow and a 2017 Judith S. Kaye Fellow of the Historical Society of New York Courts. A founding member of the NYSBA Dispute Resolution Section (NYSBA DRS), she serves on its executive committee and is the incoming Vice-Chair (2025-26 term). She also co-chairs the NYSBA DRS Domestic Arbitration Committee and actively contributes to the NYSBA Commercial and Federal Litigation and Labor and Employment Sections, among other professional organizations.

Beyond her practice, Jennifer is a sought-after trainer, speaker, and educator. She regularly shares her expertise on arbitration agreements, entertainment mediation, the ongoing litigation vs. arbitration debate, and mediation and arbitration ethics. Whether leading a training session or speaking at industry events, she values the opportunity to connect with professionals, exchange ideas, and help others navigate the complexities of dispute resolution.
